About Lightboat

David Levine: Founder & Managing Partner

20+ Years of Industry Leadership:

David Levine has over 20 years in the content business, working for top global companies like Disney, Marvel, and Moonbug. He has been instrumental in launching global brands and content, including Teletubbies, High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Spider-Man, and CoComelon.

Commissioner and Executive Producer:

David has commissioned or acquired scores of series and TV movies, including Bluey, Miraculous, PJ Masks, 16 Wishes, and 101 Dalmatian Street. He led Disney’s live-action UK productions, Evermoor (International Emmy-nominated) and The Lodge. As an Executive Producer, his credits include Netflix’s CoComelon Lane and Little Baby Bum Music Time, Amazon’s Blippi’s Treehouse and Arpo, and Sky’s Mia’s Magic Playground.

DEI Advocate and Leader:

A recognized leader in the DEI field, David was named one of the UK’s OUTStanding Top 100 Leading LGBTQ+ Executives and awarded the 2020 British LGBT Award for Inspirational Leader. He has spoken on numerous panels supporting LGBTQ+ kids’ content and has been published in several journals and periodicals
